Afghanistan vs Australia LIVE Updates, T20 World Cup 2024: Consecutive hattricks by Pat Cummins helped Australia restrict Afghanistan to 148/6 in 20 overs in their T20 World Cup 2024, Super 8 match. Asked to bat first, Afghanistan got a brilliant start as their openers Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran stitched an 118-run partnership. Gurbaz scored 60 off 49 balls while Zadran smashed 51 off 48 balls. However, Australia bounced back in style and controlled the run flow. Apart from Cummins, Adam Zampa scalped two wickets while Marcus Stoinis took one wicket.
