ബീൻസ് തോരൻ | Beans Thoran | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana



A simple and delicious recipe of beans that cis almost like a stir fried and can be made within a few minutes! BEANS THORAN Ingredients French beans, finely chopped
2 tsps coconut oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 dried red chilli
5-6 shallots, coarsely crushed
4 tbsps fresh scraped coconut
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 garlic clove
1-2 green chillies
½ tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste Method 1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add the mustard seeds, and let them splutter. Add the red chilli and onion into the pan. Add curry leaves and mix well. Sauté till onion is translucent.
2. Add the beans and sauté well. Add little water and mix well. Cover and cook for 4-5 minutes on low flame.
3. Meanwhile, in a blender, add coconut, cumin seeds, garlic, green chilli and turmeric powder. Blend to a coarse paste. Keep aside.
4. Switch off the gas and add salt to the beans mix and sauté well. Make a well in the centre and add in the prepared mixture. Cover and cook for a minute.
