Based on the top-spec Q7 Technology trim, the Black Edition is distinguished with exterior elements finished in black; limited to 100 units.
Audi India has launched a new special edition of the Q7. Called the Q7 Black Edition, the model – limited to 100 units – gets exclusive blacked-out elements on the exterior. The grille frame and slats get a Titanium Black Gloss finish, the door trim strips feature Titan Black Gloss with quattro embossing, the moldings on the windows and roofline get a High Gloss Black finish while the rear diffuser gets a Titanium Black Matt one. Completing the look are the roof rails and alloy wheels that also get the black treatment.
In its interior trimmings and equipment, however, the Q7 Black Edition is no different from the Q7 Technology trim, the range-topping version of the standard line. Notably, the Q7 Black Edition costs about Rs 1 lakh more than the Q7 in Technology trim. The Q7 Black Edition has been priced at Rs 82.15 lakh for the 45 TFSI petrol and Rs 86.30 lakh for the 45 TDI diesel.
In addition to the launch of the special edition model, Audi India has also begun a programme for the festive season, valid until September 30, that allows buyers to benefit from the Government of India’s added 30 percent depreciation schemes.
The Audi Q7 rivals the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE in the Indian market. A facelift has been revealed in international markets and is expected to come to India sometime next year.
