New Apex Legends Update Fixes Hit Registration Issues

Respawn has rolled out an update for Apex Legends that addresses the final few problems with a hit registration bug that has been negatively impacting the game since the start of Season 5: Fortune’s Favor. A previous hotfix addressed most of the bug, but Respawn says this newest update should finally stamp out the issues that players have been dealing with.

“Update: Last night we pushed out a patch to address the remaining issues with hit registration,” Respawn tweeted on May 21. “Those issues should now be resolved. Appreciate everyone’s patience, as always!”

You should now be able to play all of the new content added into Apex Legends in Season 5 without issue. Season 5 adds a brand-new playable character, Loba, who possesses supportive abilities geared towards finding and obtaining loot for her and her squad. Her arrival is accompanied by massive map changes to Kings Canyon and a new battle pass, as well as several notable balancing changes aimed at shotguns and an ability rework for Mirage.
