WAFFLE CONE Ingredients ⅔ cup refined flour
2 eggs 4 tbsps melted butter + for greasing
½ cup castor sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
A pinch of salt
¼ cup milk
Melted chocolate as required
Crushed roasted peanuts for sprinkling
Sugar sprinklers for sprinkling
Ice cream to serve Method 1. In a large bowl, break in eggs, butter and sugar whisk the mixture using an electric mixer. Add vanilla essence and cream the mixture till pale in colour.
2. Sieve the flour and salt into the egg mixture, mix well to avoid lumps. Add milk little by little, whisk to form a smooth batter.
3. Heat a waffle cone machine, grease it with melted butter. Add a portion of the batter on it and press it. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
4. Take it off the heat while hot and shape it like a cone.Set aside to firm up and cool down. 5. Dip each cone into the melted chocolate and sprinkle crushed peanuts or sprinkle sugar sprinklers.
